The Detroit Lions are one of the most popular team in the NFL. They were formed in Portsmouth, Ohio in 1930 and moved to Detroit in 1934. They never missed a Thanksgiving game since 1945 and have just won the last Thanksgiving game last year, and it was a close call. Last season, they were on top of the game and won almost every single one, but unfortunately lost their first round of the Superbowl and failed to win that season, as they never played or won a Superbowl game. Let's hope this year they play and win the Superbowl.
I am a fan of the Lions team, even though I am not a fan of football altogether. I support the team because they live near the state of Michigan and are very well-liked by people here in Michigan. I do wish that for once they would win the Superbowl because they never won a game and I wish they would, and it would make me very happy if they did. I hope they would do well this season and win many games like last year, as well as make it to the Superbowl and try to win this year.
